Therapy in Midtown Toronto

ReFresh Psychotherapy is a group therapy practice at 505 Eglinton Ave W, Ste 401 in midtown Toronto, a four-minute walk from Chaplin station on Line 5. Our therapists offer psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, and psychologist-led assessments, in person and online across Ontario, with evening and weekend appointments. Whatever brought you here, there is likely someone on the team who does that work.

Why midtown is a good place to do therapy

Midtown works for therapy because it is reachable from most of the city and easy to fit around a workday. ReFresh sits between the downtown core and the north end, and clients come from the streets just off Eglinton, from work nearby, and from Forest Hill, Allenby and Chaplin Estates after school. The office is open to 7pm most weeknights, plus Saturdays and Sundays.

The Crosstown made this office far easier to reach. Chaplin station opened on February 8, 2026, at 574 Eglinton Ave W, on our block. If you are coming from Scarborough, Leaside, Don Mills or anywhere along Eglinton, Line 5 is now a straight ride to a few minutes from our door. Many online transit directions still show the old routing, so give yourself a moment to check.

ReFresh is one practice at one address. Every therapist works from Suite 401 and offers both in-person and online sessions, so if you need to switch to video later you keep your therapist rather than starting over.

Our team includes Registered Psychologists who conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments. In Ontario, only psychologists and psychological associates can communicate a diagnosis, which is why most psychotherapy clinics cannot offer assessment and we can. After an ADHD or learning assessment, your family can continue with a therapist here who already knows the findings, instead of repeating the whole story elsewhere.

Fees depend on the therapist and their designation. We also keep reduced-fee spots with our supervised intern and a small number of sliding-scale places we sort out case by case. If cost is the barrier, say so when you call. We would rather talk it through than have you not reach out.

Getting To The Office

The office is a four-minute walk from Chaplin station, with a Green P lot and accessible parking three minutes away. Here is the detail.
Chaplin station on Line 5 is the closest stop, at 574 Eglinton Ave W, roughly 300 metres west of us, about four minutes on foot. It is underground and fully accessible, with elevators to the platform. Avenue station is a similar walk to the east, with its main entrance at the northwest corner of Eglinton and Avenue Road. Forest Hill station, up at Bathurst, is about a kilometre west.
Eglinton station connects Line 1 and Line 5. From there it is one stop west to Avenue, two to Chaplin, or a flat eighteen-minute walk straight along Eglinton with no turns to think about.
Green P Lot 47 at 125 Burnaby Blvd is the closest lot, open 24 hours, about three minutes’ walk, and recently around $1.50 per half hour. It has accessible spaces. It also fills up on weekday mornings between nine and eleven, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you are coming in before work. There is Green P pay-and-display along Eglinton too, and some parking on the side streets, though the residential blocks have permit and time limits that change corner to corner, so read the signs before you leave the car.
The front entrance on Eglinton is at street level, and there is an elevator to the fourth floor. In the interest of being straight with you: the entrance may have a small lip at the door, and the fourth-floor washroom is not wheelchair accessible. If access is a concern, call us at 647-933-5717 before you book and we will tell you exactly what to expect and talk through whether online sessions might suit you better.
