I am a Registered Psychotherapist with more than a decade of experience supporting both children and adults. I work with neurotypical and neurodiverse children, youth, and individuals, focusing on challenges related to ADHD, autism, anxiety, mood and adjustment issues, emotional regulation, and anger management. I also support clients engaging in our DBT skills program, helping them manage intense emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience.
My career has included working as a therapist in a live-in treatment setting for dual-diagnosed youth identified as “complex care,” as well as in day treatment classrooms and community-based mental health programs. These experiences have allowed me to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and reinforced how critical the right therapeutic support is to building strong, healthy family dynamics.
I also co-developed an autism mental health counselling program at a community mental health organization in Toronto, providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy to children and youth with mental health concerns alongside an autism diagnosis.
My therapeutic style is rooted in a strengths-based and attachment-focused approach, drawing on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
I am passionate about helping clients build the skills they need to navigate challenges with confidence and compassion. If you’re looking for support, I would be happy to connect for a free 20-minute consultation to answer your questions and see if we’re a good fit.
