Whether someone is new to therapy or returning after some time away, it’s often a sense of change that brings them here. Sometimes it’s a clear shift — a move, a relationship, a career that no longer fits. Other times, it might be quieter – a feeling of carrying something for longer than feels sustainable. Often there’s a realization that something needs to change.
My path into psychotherapy has been shaped by my work as a physiotherapist in the UK, and as a health coach in both Canada and the U.S. That experience continues to inform how I understand people, their relationships, experiences, and life transitions.
Therapy sessions are collaborative and grounded in real conversation. We start by getting a clearer sense of what feels important to you — what meaningful change might actually look like. From there, our work unfolds. My clients often describe the space as safe, supportive and non-judgmental, while at the same time, gently challenging in ways that feel useful. If therapy has felt stuck or unhelpful in the past, that’s something we can explore openly.
Many people I work with are navigating transitions or reflecting on patterns in their relationships, mood, or self-expectations; others are simply looking for space to think and make sense of things at their own pace. I work with both individuals and couples. My approach integrates insight with practical tools, always keeping your goals and values at the centre.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation as a chance for us to connect and see if it feels like a good fit.
